This course will demonstrate creative and alternative
experiential techniques with an emphasis on skill development.
Experiential

work can contribute to the advanced facilitator’s skills and
“bag of tricks.”  Use of metaphors as well as challenge course exercises

will be presented.  The techniques presented will include
work with co-occurring disorders, addictions, attachments and core issues.
An emphasis will be placed on modeling techniques over participants working on
their own issues with the hope of enhanced ability to utilize offerings in your
practice.  We will journey to three
introspective destinations, the mud, marshes, and caverns.

Experiential techniques will be modeled and processed one by one,
each method connected to the three phases of introspection. If you desire more
animation and energy in your groups and individual sessions, if sometimes you
feel your 1st step work seems a little blunted, or if you just
desire more adventure with group and individual practice, this course may
assist you in enlivening those processes.
